I’m on Spring Break right now and I’m sleeping all the time!

I’m planning to go shopping on Tuesday for some spring dresses.

My closet just consists of cotton, fall, dark colored dresses.

Even though the 15th, is already over in Japan, Happy 21st birthday A-chan!

A-chan is a member of the Japanese group Perfume.

A-chan’s real name is Ayaka Nishiwaki, as all three members of Perfume have an “alias” name.

They performed on valentines day and this blog, Strawberry Ice Cream, does a very good job at updating news about Perfume in general

I thought that I would post some photos of Ziyi Zhang in some of the many beautiful gowns that she wears to different events.

Whether it be to an award show, a movie premiere or a charity event, Ziyi Zhang always looks very beautiful

I wish that I could wear such beautiful also.  My favorite gown is the first one that I posted.

I wanted to also post which desinger’s gown she is wearing, but right now time does not allow me to do so.

However, I might do a follow up post in the future.

I also thought that I would post a Perfume video too!

I was trying to look for one that would be valentine’s day “appropriate,” and of course “Chocolate Disco” fits perfectly, but I think that in this video, their outfits are very cute and shiny, so I went for “One Room Disco” instead.

A-chan, Nochi and Kashiyuka are all very cute too and I usually always love their outfits

Here is the final opening for Ef: A Tale of Memories.

Before watching it, I would just like to say that because this is the final opening, it does provide some spoilers for the series.

You have been warned.

Of course, the most dominant change is that the opening is now being sung in Japanese and not English

You may ask yourself, “What? The opening before was in English? It didn’t really sound like English.”

The singer, Elisa, is Japanese and was doing her best with singing the song in English. Compared to other Japanese singers who try to sing in English, Elisa did a very good job

I don’t want to spoil anything else, so please go check out this show for yourself. The storyline, cinematography, artwork, whatever you like to focus on in a show, this show exceeds expectations.

I will take a break before posting the openings to Ef: A Tale of Melodies, probably until next week. Even though Ef: A Tale of Memories only had three openings, A Tale of Melodies has over 10 different variations.

Elisa also sings the opening for the “second season” as well. The reason that I place “second season” in quotations marks is because the next story is not really a continuation of the first story, but a new story all together. There are the same characters, but characters that were more minor in A Tale of Memories are the more dominant characters in A Tale of Melodies and vice versa.

I really implore that you watch Ef: A Tale of Memories first, before you watch Ef: A Tale of Melodies. Mainly so you can be introduced to the first set of characters as well as the first story. I personally love Ef: A Tale of Melodies more than A Tale of Memories, but I am very glad that I watched the “first season” or first story before watching the second one.

On a different note, I thought that I would post some nail art. I don’t really feel like having my nails done, just because I’m typing all the time for my classes, but I still think that it’s fun to do something cute, spontaneous and flirty, such as having your nails done. I think that if you do have your nails done, you don’t have to worry too much on your outfit or an accessory for you outfit, because you already have a “simple” touch of cute to add to your outfit.

This month People Tree will be releasing a collection that Emma Watson helped collaborate on with their creative team

Emma stated that, “This is not a celebrity endorsement, it is about creating something that is genuinely a great idea and about making a difference through fashion.”

I have been excited about this clothing launch since September of last year, when it was announced that Emma would be working with the companies creative team to produce a collection centered on a younger age group.

Here are a few of my favorites from the collection, however, I am still a much bigger fan of Emma’s personal style. Don’t get me wrong. What Emma is doing is great, but I don’t necessarily feel that all of the outfits go along with what I have seen Emma wear in the past. However, Emma Watson is amazing and helping with the release of the this clothing line just shows that she is on a superior level to other actors/celebrities

First, here is the second opening to Ef: A Tale of Memories.

The only major difference between would be a slight addition of color.

As the weeks continue to go by and as I continue to update the many versions of the opening, I will explain the significance of the minor to major changes.

[ I highly recommend watching this series. Start off with Ef: A Tale of Memories and I am sure that you will, without a doubt, want to continue on to the "second season" Ef: A Tale of Melodies]

I personally prefer Ef: A Tale of Melodies more than A Tale of Memories for many reasons.  I do not want to spoil the plots right away so the reason that I will give is, in A Tale of Melodies, because of a more “mature” storyline, the cinematography was  also excelled.

I really enjoyed the post that the link takes you to.

She looks very beautiful in both pictures and viewing the pictures from a critiquing-view they are flawless in capturing the best representation of the clothing. The pictures look like they could be in a magazine and I bet if they were, people would be buying that dress of the racks in no time.

Off to study for a midterm, but I hope that you enjoyed the post.

I hope to start posting more fashion “themed” posts soon, but it just takes a lot of time to piece those types together.

Summary: I still would like to go to Japan, but right now I need to focus on other important items　

In the meantime, as my major is Cinema Studies, I have been watching lots of different films and TV shows, as well as reading interesting film articles. I watched an Japanese TV show last quarter that had a very well edited opening and it got even better when I realized that the opening for the show changed several times. And it got even better when I realized that there was a second season of the show too.

So, starting today I would like to share the different openings in order, starting with season 1, which is called Ef: A Tale of Memories.

I must say that for a little while I had actually forgotten about the blog world, but a little while ago my good friend Kimmi sent me a text and casually told me that she was waiting for an update.

I cannot begin to explain how busy I have been, but I sort of feel that I’m developing a better pattern and adjusting as best as I can to everything new around me.

That being said, I just finished my homework and should probably get to bed soon.

However, before I leave I would just like to share something cute that I found a few days ago.

The first video is the real dance performed by the artists and the second video is a little girl trying to copy what she is watching on her television.

You only have to watch the first minute and a half of the first video as that is as much as the little girl copies.

That was really cute, right? ♪

Well, I’m not sure exactly how frequent these posts will be, but I guess we will just have to wait and see as the days go by.

I love playing video games.

When I was a child I played tons of video games everyday!　♪

Now, I’m very busy and I don’t play video games.

But, I have hope!　♫

Soon, I can play video games.

Next week I will be finished with my job!

I’m excited!

I thought I’d post five of my favorite video games that I played when I was a child.

(However, to start things off, even though this is not a video of my younger brother and I, how the boy is reacting in the video, this is how we both reacted when we also received our Nintendo 64. I’m not even kidding)

I spent countless hour, upon hour, upon hour, upon hour playing these games.

My older brother is 10 years older than I am and therefore he was playing video games when he was 13 and I was three.

My “induction” into video games started at an early age and by the time I was 9, I knew that I wanted to work for Nintendo when I was older.

At first I wanted to be a graphic designer, but after many years, and a trip to DigiPen in the 6th grade, I learned that I did not have the stamina to draw so much.

I switched to studying Japanese and learned that Nintendo was from Japan.

I would love to work for Nintendo either in Washington or in Kyoto.

I’m lucky enough to live very close to Nintendo’s main headquarters in the United States so if I did work in Redmond, I already know that I’d be happy with where I would have to live.

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: (bought in 1999)

My younger brother and I, along with my dad made a trip to our local pawn shop.

It was my younger brother’s birthday and he wanted to buy something with the $20 he had received from our Uncle in England.

We both spotted the game and as I recall we were both like, “Hey, it’s a Zelda game!”

We had previously only played the Zelda game for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

My brother bought it.

When we got home he played it for 20 minutes and then I got to play it.

(My mom had made this rule that year that we would put our kitchen timer on for 20 minutes  so we would both be able to have fair playing time)

However, I ran over my 20 minutes promising my brother to do all of his chores for a week or something like that.

I played this game everyday when I got home from school and all day on the weekends until I beat it.

To this day, Zelda and the Ocarina of time is my all time favorite video game.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (bought in 2001)

I remember that my dad took my younger brother and I to the gas station down the road and in a side store they rented movies and video games.

I saw Majora’s Mask and immediately begged my dad to let me rent it for the five days that rentals were allowed.

He agreed and I was so excited!

However, when I got home and placed the game into my Nintendo 64 system, horror washed over me.

The screen read that I needed an Expansion Pack to play my game.

What the heck was an expansion pack!?

I placed a mental image of what the expansion pack looked like into my head and the next day my mom and I raced to the pawn shop.

Success! There in the counter was an expansion pack.

We hurried home and went about trying to install the expansion pack into the N64.

After about 25 minutes (maybe even longer) and using a table knife to pry the old “expansion pack” out of the system (we even placed the knife in the freezer to get colder for some reason…), I was off to playing Zelda again.

Sadly, I did not have enough time to beat the game in the five day period, but luckily enough the next week I visited the pawn shop again and the game was there!

I bought it and beat the game shortly after.

3. Banjo Kazooie (2000…still haven’t bought…)

To this day I’m still “borrowing” this game from my neighbors.

I was at my neighbors house and saw them playing it and asked if I could borrow it.

Being the amazing neighbors that they were they said yes.

I was drawn to the game because it had similar graphics to those of my beloved Zelda games.

This game just brings back good memories of coming home after school, sitting down in front of my TV, and playing video games for hours without having to really worry about anything. (Money, school, jobs, etc.)

4. Kingdom Hearts (bought in 2003)

I know that I bought this game in the 6th grade, because one of my friends wouldn’t stop telling me how far he had gotten the night before. (He got the game before me and sought to remind me everyday until I was able to buy it).

This game also marks when I was introduced to Utada Hikaru.

(As well as more Japanese music)

I remember sitting in front of my TV with the cartoon channel on just waiting for the commercial for Kingdom Hearts to come one so I could hear the beautiful song.

I swear that I had butterflies in my stomach.

My dad and mom surprised my brother and I with a PS2 shortly after and I almost cried when I put the game in and saw the opening clip.

It’s a good game.

Go play it.

5. Super Smash Bros. (bought in…)

I remember staying the night at my neighbors house with my younger brother all the time and staying up into the wee hours of the morning playing this game.

We would rotate houses and my neighbors would bring the game over to our house, along with their controllers, so we could play in my room too.

We hadn’t bought our own game because we didn’t really feel that it was necessary since our neighbors would let us borrow it and we would let them borrow ours.

This game keeps improving and improving with Super Smash Brother’s Melee for the GameCube and Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii.

Also very good games.

Go play one, they are all worth your time.
